Tuning 460 Mag Carb

Just ordered the dual port cover for my 460; thanks Jeff for the part number.  The deal could not find the part in his book.


Now that the cover is on order, how do I retun the carb?


Is this a  procedure that I can do by ear?

This should answer your questions - complete with audio clips.  You should be able to do it by ear, just err on the side of things being a bit rich if you're unsure.

you can also get a tach pretty cheap and its good insurance - nice to know what your saw is doing.
