Just had to buy one of those cool lookin blue log turners from logrite. :D
No not just beacause the blue ox is blue also! :D :D

Did a job with the sawmill at a customers location, moved many huge 16 foot pines, some lumpy and many set right into the dirt.  The old peavy worked just fine till the next to the last monster.  Set the hook and gave a backwards heft with all I had and................   the handle broke clean off.  Sent me flying throught the air landed flat on my back with a thump and just missed the mill with my head to boot.  Just as I look up I see the handle headed for me and before I could react it landed where no hunk of maple has a right to strike...no not my head. :D :D

Well any way it was a good cut job 6500 bd ft in 25 hours over three days, but I did just have to get one of logrites blue turners.

Gotta say this is the best UPS ground shipping call a company order a thing I have ever experienced.  The peavy was here when I came home with load number 2 today.  Of course I had 2 more loads to get so didn't open it till 8:05 and there it is in all its blueness.  I still love orange but blue is fast in second on my list now.  Didn't get to roll a log yet but listen to this........

whats funny is the logrite website has sale prices to.  I bought some other stuff the same night from bailyes and saw that they had logrite tools also at similar prices but not blue , so didn't give them the order for the peavy and went to logrite.  Lets see when the baily order gets here. :D  ( the preceeding was not intenteded to knock any products by any and all manufacturers or supply companies)

Funny thing also is I always get a hat got.....all kinds from mizer and blue ox and free heat and some yoper hat :D  DanG I don't even wear hats

Thats why the gloves are priceless......wait till Kathy gets home from work. :D

Cut 740 feet of pine today with a few larger than 20 inches.  All I can say about the logrite peavy is.................

SWEET
Point digs in well, much better than my old one and the length gives good leverage.  The logs seemed to roll farther too but that might be cause I finnal but the mill on the down side of a slope. :D  would have cut more but did a payed for log pick up also.
