We'll hope they remembered to unarm this time.

Not sure where they are headed each day they are even keeping me in the dark.

Jeff
Good thing you were keeping track of Arky and Jonny those two could of probably get into some big mischief specially if you add Furby to the bunch. You have your hands full I can see that. I guess boys will be boys.

So me truck is cleaner now than what is shows in the pic. ???

Jonny even got to milk a cow :o at Bro Nobles from what I heard I will have to see the pics to believe it because he wouldn't help his uncle milk goats.  ;D

Well here's a pic of Jonny pulling his first teat.

This is Noble's newest calf.

In the last picture it looks like Bro. Noble is telling Jeff and Jonny that the calf is not breathing and one of them needs to give the new calf mouth to nose resuscitation. The question is which one of them saved the calf's life? I am sure Furby wanted to, but he was taking pictures.

Jeff

Yea, but maybe that explains the lack of pictures after that point...
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

Jeff B, I suppose you are right. Furby jumped right in there and became the hero. 8) A person has not really lived until they have kissed a slimy nose of a new born calf to save its life.

HE maybe looking it over real close to see where the ribeye steak comes from. :o ;)

Mrs._Stump_Jumper

No Furby wouldn't touch it.  He wouldn't want to get his hands all slimy.   ;D :o Stump Jumper may of or Bro Noble, Jonny was probably to flabbergasted to do anything.

I was told they put a straw in its nose and and did something with it until the calf coughed and sneezed.  (I think that is the way it went)  The calf was breathing when they left.  Looked like it was gonna make it. 8)

Well I was off getting the cows in and Jeff and John and The Furbster were poking around in the junk piles.  I found this cow needing a little assistance and hollered at the guys "who wants to help pull a calf?'  Well, all three took off in a run-----two of them towards me and the cow :D :D  Jeff and I pulled the calf,  John was ready with a straw as soon as the calf hit the ground.  It was breathing,  but kinda raspy,  so John tickled it's nose tho make it sneeze and clear out it's lungs.  Soon after they hit the road to parts unknown,  the calf was up and taking on nourishment.

Where do you reckon those three characters are now? ::)

They were at Cedarman's yesterday and then heading to the North country. When I talked to them last night there were headed to South Bend, Indiana for the night.  They were gonna head out this morning toward Okiamac's place (sp).  Then they would be heading home I think.  That is what I understand so here's hoping I see them today.

Well the crew made it to my place at around 10:00 or so. I was all out of breath because I had just saved our miniture goat from the jaws of death-literally. Our new German shepard dog had the goats whole neck in his mouth and wasn't letting go. I had to run 100yds in deep snow to save the danG thing.
Anyway, Jeff, John, and Furby showed up with a truck load of some real nice Cedar from Cedarmans mill. 8) We unloaded the Cedar and I gave them the dime tour.

Can't say thanks enough to Furby and Stumpjumper-they are real good folks the kind that make this forum what it is. :)
Mobile Demension sawmill, Bobcat 873 loader, 3 dry kilns and a long "to do" list.

TexasTimbers

Sounds like y'all fellers had a great time. 8)

Yep Jeff the mill is coming right along. The mill operator is having some problems but I'll catch on sooner or later. :)
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.

Furby

Thought we'd put up a pic of the cryo treating process we put Kevjay's blades through. ;D

TexasTimbers

Yeah, that DanG hawby is so stingy he only sent me like 300 blades. I'm probably gonna have to buy more as soon as 2010 or something.  :)

Furby

He told me on the phone there was something like a truck load of blades.
I really though he was over doing it a bit.
Boy was I wrong! :o
We had to get creative to get all the blades in the truck, but we did it! ;D
