A nice size show with plenty of mill manufactures strutting their stuff.

Anyone comming to the woodsman's at Boonville, NY stop by the Peterson booth on the infield. I will be there demoing my mill and Layla and Robert from Peterson are there with the new skillMill. I saw Logrite has a booth in the row just 1 row over from the Peterson booth. Should be a great time for all FF members. Stop and say hello.

I'm gonna try to make it, if I do it'll prolly be sunday. I went almost every year when I was a kid  ::)  Only been about twice in the past 8 years or so. If I do I'll be the one that looks like a toothpick with a hat that says fun dip lik-m-aid on it :D :D Don't know too many people with that one.

Yes moosehunter, they have a sign on every mill that spectators must stand back 25' and to the operators right. However people can't read and shows cram you in so there is not enough room and you can't properly direct watchers where to stand.
I sure wish you had realized it was me, I would have loved to talk with you.

Aren't Layla and Robert a hoot.  I was on vacation last week and we ( the family) drove to Cleveland OH and met them ( RObert and Layla) for supper and then went to a tractor pull.   It was a blast.  Robert's family operates several dairy farms made up of 25,000 yes 25,000 dairy cows but they have a lack of tractors that have helicopter turbins or shoot fire 10' out the exhaust stack.  Imagin that :)   Sorry we missed the wood show and sorry y'all missed the tracor pull.  The price on their face was priceless.

Maple flats, I did a show for Peterson's last year in KY.  I actually had a guy come up to talk to me about the mill and his kid climbed up on my rails and started to swing on my telescoping tubes before I noticed it.  He failed to see why I got so upset about it.

I had a great time at the woodsmens field days.I got to meet Twobears (didnt realize he was Twobears till I read this thread and the scar set it off cause he told me that the saw got ahold of him )and we talked about the new Baker M-412 planer/moulder.I also got to meet Moosehunter and chat with him. There was alot of people at the show.I thought it was a great turnout.I also met the Peterson gang , they came in to our booth and talked with me.Two great people.I talked to alot of people and so many that I cant remember all names. It was great to meet the members of the FF that came to our booth.
