Its only 8° here so I decided to clean house and not go out hunting this morning. I'm never alone here cause the cabin critters are always here. News ones sem to appear from time to time too.


This is "Nanuck" he sits on the wall directly across from my spot at the kitchen table

I am starting to worry about Jeff. He is starting to get cabin fever and it is only November. ::)  I think he needs to move south, not north. ;D

Better be careful Pigman, Jeff has his fingers on the controls right now and so far he has just changed the colors, yesterday to pink and then yellow today. Who knows whats next for you.  ::)

I'm thinkin the same as pigman. Cabin closing in, staring at the paneling, gun in hand, thinkin critters are appearing on the walls.....eyes beginning to glaze over...dreaming of a big antlered critter walking by....Boom!

I've still got both, but even at my age...not staring at the knot holes ...  yet. ;D ;D ;D

I'm getting ready to go out for opening deer season tomorrow...supposed to be 8° F here. Will see if I stay in and look at da panelling. 8) 8)

It's been between 20-30 degrees here all week and sunshine. I just saw a grouse today along the woods road. He was running like a turkey on frozen dry weeds, then vroom off into the swamp thickets. :D :D

Jeff, I have to thank you for starting this thread...My oldest daughter is trying to get into the Governor's School for the arts...and has to submit a multimedia portfolio...so the other day, we were in the ice cream parlor downtown, and I was explaining cabin critters to her...she is now out
combing my slab piles looking for critters to accentuate and decorate for her portfolio...so far she has
a sleeping swan, a steer and a bunny...we're still negotiating the salmon...it is in my shop wall...

Well...hopefully...I took some pics of my shed project the other day, and cannot for the life of me
find the card reader to download them....

We are having alot of fun with sawmill scraps....now if they were just hydraulic sawmill scraps...there'd be alot more...

I have a new two peice camera usb cable , that only needs a litle TLC , that I can let go for real cheap .....  ;D
I got it on a trade in for a card reader . :)  ::)

it's in this chaotic disaster we call a house somewhere...I'm mad because we didn't get a hurricane this year...usually organizes us a bit....

I figured out why so many parents are willing to pay exorbitant college tuition...it gets the messy little beggars out of the house...:D

that's probably why parents seem to get really weird later in life...kidz get embarassed and don't come home so often...me, i'm gonna braid my ear hair into my nose hair...kinda like a cross between Bluebeard and Mr. Bean... :D

About the time my sons were heading out to college we were building a new house. They both asked me which one was their bedroom....I explained that I had a no return policy. ;D
