Well, I'm glad that you got them in the ground. Are they growing yet?

I'm still hoping to scoop up another handful or two for you.

That would be terrific Rav Kid. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)  By the way, how are the kids doing with the shirts and the art projects. If you can post a picture or two, that would be terrific.

Hey Frank,

Your former tour is now obsolete.......guess when I come for the dollar tour will have to see a new plaque with seedlings.  :D

Frank,

We are trying to finish up the shirts this week. We had a bunch of kids absent yesterday, so there is still some printing left to do. The rest are either done or putting the finishing touches on them.

I still haven't figured out how to post pictures, but I'll be sure to send you a couple via email.

Frank,
I was going to ask you if you were starting these in a green house or just putting them in the ground.   I hope you mark the plots some how so as when you are gone and the farm has been condemend because you have a stand of trees they are treating like Kudzu.   I plant stuff on the farm all the time and forget where.  I have planted PawPaws and Osage Oranges all over the place and last spring I put Royal Palonoma (SP?) out.   I guess some day I will see them.

Arkansawyer, they are being riased in a nursery house.  Some of my x students are in the business of raising trees.  I have entrusted them with the seeds.  We will see how good they have become. 8)  I cannot guarateee the growers success, as I did not teach horticulture, but World culture, English and litertaure.  We will see, come Spring. :-/

I went out to the nursery this morning to deliver some had railing for the folks new house.  While there I thought that I might just check the seed conditions and lo and behold I was very saddened. :'( :'( :'( :'(       Hey ya Rav,  I have some sad news.  :'( The seed that you sent are not sprouting as yet.  Almost every one of those that Arkansawyer sent have sprouted. 8) 8) 8)

Perhaps, the fact Arkansawyer put all of his seeds in baggies made the difference ,as the natural moisture stayed with the seed.

Is it possible for you to try and find some more seeds Rav, and put them in baggies? ::)  I sure want some seeds from your neck of the woods. :)
