Mr Mom

Taking with a guy that has bought a christmas tree farm and he wants to get rid of some of the bigger trees and i need to know if they are worth anything??
Some of the trees are 12" and bigger and smaller. Making room for new trees.
I would have to get a truck to move them. That would cost me around $400 aload or more >:( >:( >:(.
Need expert help. What are they worth?? What is pine going for??

   Thanks Alot Mr Mom

In my humble opinion, haul em out to lake erie for fish cover, not worth sawing or firewood.

Gotta agree with Skip....with the timber business so slow....pine ranks at the bottom...Just got out of woods clearing pine sapling that had grown up in log road...they, and gum, are the trash trees in this area

Compare "too big" Christmas trees with "saw log" tree tops.  That's the duff that's left when the logs are removed.  I like Skip's answer.....sorry..... :'(

Last fall I sawed a cabin from spruce that was from an old growth christmas tree farm. Nothing bigger than 16" but it made a good cabin. If there all 12" or less it probably won't be worth the effort though :(
