I've been working on the Vangard on my mill for the past several days. More specifically, the carb. At least once a year I have to take it off and clean it out because no matter how good the filters are some fines always seem to make it through. Cleaned it out real good, put it back on and I'm back making boards. Not many. Pretty soon it's acting starved again. I can cut if it is almost all the way choked. This morning I decide to take the carb off again.

Before I could I happen to get this email.

I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like   Mission Control and asked him to come over.   Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.  As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?   He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'  I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,
'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'  Eric grinned.... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?  'No,' I replied.    'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down:

So just as I am going to take the carb off I look down and see a bolt that I had just finger tightened when I put it on. It held the ground the ground wire for the solenoid on the carb. For sure I felt like that ID ten T.

If you're honest you don't have to trust your memory.
