Bought the saw!

A Stihl 066 with a 24" bar. on e-bay. Had to bid higher than I wanted, but the saw's been rebuilt. Since I priced a new one at $800, I figure it'll be worth the money.  8) Between the book, saw and mill, I've got about $650 invested, I wonder how many carport post I could have bought for that amount.  :-/

You can't measure it like that Stan.   Now you can make all that you want. ;D

I have been asked a few times, "why did you buy a big truck like that?"  

"Because I wanted it".  has become my stock reply".

Some things you don't have to justify. :D

How many I can make is wholly dependant on the amount of "fun" I can have. I can always sell the equipment on e-bay with a reserve.  ;)

I would have to agree, sometimes it's just nice to say "just because I wanted it"
