This here pile of logs would keep us busy for several days, ya reckon???

The whack setting crossways is on a semi- trailer. There are always 2 trucks waiting to enter the yard, 1 truck actually moving into the yard, and 1 truck being unloaded.???

This is GP 2X and plywood plant, in Palatka.

That looks just like our GP log pile. They have a radial stacker there?

Yep Dail, they sure do. It is nearly a half circle of logs. The pic doesn't come close to reality. That pile is HUGE.
When viewed from another angle, the pile looks like a sports stadium seating arrangement. ;D

Impressive! For anyone in MA, off RT128n (or is it 95n?) there used to be a firewood place with neatly stacked cord wood 30+ feet high.

Captain

There is a place in Quincy MA, visible from RT3, with more firewood than any other place I've ever seen.  Their log piles for firewood are nicer than my sawlogs :(.

Hey, Captain, you might ask them if they would  like to have  some company, and bring you mill along. :D

The above pic is very deceiving. That pile is at least 100 feet high.  Those power poles are about 100 feet away from the pile.

Frank, I would just like to reimburse their financial outlay on some of these logs and relieve them of the burden having to create firewood.  Heck, I would even buy some of these at the firewood price by the cord!!

I rescue some white oak from a gentleman that has a firewood processor to cut most of my trailer deck orders.  He likes the added value of the log without labor and even delivers...
