I had every intention of coming up there, but had to pour concrete yesterday, then cut it today and didn't have time to do both.  I really wish that I could of made it up there, but had to keep the job going.
I cut it twice and it's still too short

Well been here a couple of times now, think I saw Chet there?? Thanks for the Video link Jeff, that game with the wood blocks on the tree looks like fun, there has been a kid swinging it by himself for some time now.
All looks good!!!! Kinda can say I have been to one of these now.... ;)

These boys are enjoying the stick bowling, and interesting to see one (Tamiam's son? with the mohawk haircut) pace off the distance from the stick at rest, and then the distance to the starting point and another point to aim at. Appears to be the radius of the arc that the stick on the rope swings through. Pretty successful at knocking over the stick. Maybe the design engineer growing up in the family?  or the professional bowler. :)

I got a kick out of the stick bowling earlier. A taller youngster tried to knock over the stick for about 10 minutes with no luck. The Mohawk-wearing youngster took his place and was successful on his first attempt. Naturally. :)

Then, the young mohawked LogRite son nailed it seven times in a row!  Incredible.  100 people (mostly older people) had taken a shot at it, and three hit it.  That is 3% for you math majors  :).  After all the festivities were winding down (and after Weekend_Sawyer had absconded with the prize), the youthful LogRite Mohawk Artist Scientist took the stage and showed everybody else up  ;D.

Great stuff, thanks for the pics MM, that pig sure looked good. 8)

I am not into blowing peoples trumpets but Jeff you've done a great thing with the FF, hats off to you for all your effort in keeping this ship sailing along. Looking at these pics and knowing how far people have traveled to socialise (including the wellwishes of those couldn't make it) shows FF is a standout and truley like an extended family. :)

Great pictures for we "the unfortunate." Jeff, looks like a bang-up job .... again! I envy all of you, but maybe someday. God speed and have a safe trip back home everyone.

Jeff,
Just wanted to drop a few lines to thank you and all your competent recruits for making the pig roast a memorable event my kid and I won't forget. He had actually been saving for a Lava Lamp for a while now, but he won one yesterday, so the Lava Lamp money can now be transferred to his I-pad (or is it pod?) fund. The Pig Roast is like a family reunion that one actually looks forward to attending. We're already anticipating next year's event!

David (PostonLt40HD),
My son ended up with one of your knives. Your (now his) knife is now #11 in his collection. He and one of his cousins have both been stagnate at 10 knives each for almost 2 months now, so he is incredibly happy that he has pulled ahead for the time being 8)

Thanks again to all involved- from the facilitators to the pork pullers to the prize donators.

I'm glad your son won a knife Marty. I was wondering if Jeff really gave them away as prizes or kept one for himself, handed Magic one, pitched WDH one and slid Burlcraft one behind his back and said...."Shhhhhhh......Poston will never know it."  :D :D :D

I'm just playing Boss. :)

I'm glad ya'll had fun. The PIG ROAST is a great "tension" reliever from our busy work year.

Forget the Olympics.....this looked like it was really perfect.  Really enjoyed the pics and cideo.  Sure makes me wish I was there to meet all those folk I cyberknow.  Well done, Jeff and Tammy.  Next year for me!

Well folks, what a time it was. I made it home a little wet but mostly I missed the big storms. The new chainsaw came home with no problems strapped just like you see it. Got some pretty funny looks from cars passing by, mostly from the minivans  :D

Thank you all for a wonderful time. I am still amazed I won the chainsaw.
