For the past week my mill has been stranded on the other side of the great Tolland, CT mud pit. Tomorrow I think it will be firmed up enough to drive across.
I got one spot on the way up to the mill yard that always gets a little muddy in the spring, but with all the rain last week it became about 20inchs of muck. So today I brought in 40tons of stone and with a little luck I will pull the mill through it with no problems.
wish me luck

I am happy to report that all went well, just a little mud on the frame but nothing to repair. Sorry but I could not use the camera and drive the tractor at the same time.

I could have taken the pictures since I had no luck finding red oak flooring all day. I ended up wasting 2 hours just driving around. Photographing you in the Tolland mud pit would have been just as productive, but a lot more fun.
