Hi , new here so forgive me if I’m not in tune yet, ran into a deal for nw red cedar but not sure what a reasonable price would be, bf or size cut. I live in northern Idaho. Everything I have found is 8 years or older . Just rough saw nothing fancy , would love to unload some of this stuff. Any suggestions I would be grateful for any info. Thx.

I sold 3400 bf at 2.00 last year it went for siding.
I am out of SW Montana it was from a abandoned log deck NW of Kalispell.
Its hard to find full thickness cedar. I have been asked about more but there is no cedar around here.
If you cut it ware a respirator and try to keep the dust off you.
I broke out in a bad rash.

I haven't saved the web site, but Wash DNR posts the most recent price by month of different types and grades.  Should give you a rough idea.

Don't attribute irritating behavior to malevolence when mere stupidity will suffice as an explanation.

As of right now I'm selling WRC stk at $3.50/bdft. It has gone up $1/bdft in the last year and is still climbing. Keep in mind this is old growth, but it seems our second growth isn't far behind.
