For the last two days a couple carpenters and myself have been working on an addition for the back of the sawmill shed. Off tomorrow to get roofing tin. Future plans are now working on rainy days and taking nice sunny days off to go fishing. Time to slow down some old bones don't move as fast as they use to.

OK, I'm jealous.  How did you treat the upright posts?  Are they in the ground or supported by concrete?

They are 6x6 ERC and I pour concrete in the base of the hole and filled in around the posts with screening (sand would of work also). I probably could of got away without concrete in the bottom but that area is fill dirt that only been there a couple years.
