Interesting article, but since I am not suffering from having a few extra thousand dollars burning

I've "seen" bicycle frames made from bamboo, I say seen in quotes because it was on "How its made".

How is steel and or Aluminum a Non-Renewable Material?
If I remember correctly Steel is the most recycled mat'l out there.
Renewable or recycled? If your recycling a material an unlimited amount is the end result the same?
