I have a wood Mizer lt40 and the hydraulic system has stopped working. When I move the levers it just makes a clicking noise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Start by checking the contact strips that transfer power from headrig to the hyd pumps. On lower part of frame on hitch end.

Contacts seem to be good and there's plenty of power over in the battery and at the solenoid

They are great but closed on the weekends

@Pfordhp2b Use you're finger and manually engage the micro switch. Sometimes it needs adjusted. Nine out of ten times I've had hydraulic problems that was the culprit.
I keep a new one on stock at all times. I've gone through 3 already. The hydraulics will work intermittently when it starts to go bad. Hope this helps

The clicking solenoid says that it is getting power and energizing but are the contacts passing the 12vdc on to the hydraulic motor?  Temporarily take a jumper cable and bypass the solenoid.  The hydraulic motor should run.  If it does, then you have a solenoid problem.  If it does not, you should look toward the hydraulic motor.

A Voltmeter and a clamp on DC Ammeter would be your friends.  The hydraulic motors pull some high amps when energized.

Just last week I had reposition the contact assembly that make contact with the frame power strip.

Just a word of caution, if the solenoid is bad, don't go to the autoparts store to get a replacement for it!

It is a 200 amp solenoid, just call WM and get the real thing!
