Old Vintage Saws Bar & Chains

OK you collectors, where can you find Bar & Chains for the old Homelites & McCullochs.

Also if nothing new is available...what Bar & Chain comb's can be modified to work?

I.E. I have a Bar & Chain combo for a Stihl 66 that works with my home engineered spacers for my McCulloch 797. (Took a couple of nuts & filed the flats to fit inside the bar slot.)

In particular WHAT can I buy new that can be modified for my 1020 Homelite.
(Oregon pattern F014..which seem to be unavailable) Any Husky or Stihl bats close enough to modify with a file & drill??

I Know a guy who just bought out an old Homelite dealer. He has a shed full of old homelite's. I know he has at least one 2100. I cant tell you the condition but ill look into the bar for your 1020.

Hey Walter;I have modified large mount Stihl bars to fit both my large McCulloch's and 2100 Homey,by using bushings[homemade],and milling the oil hole,and tightening hole.I found them all on e-bay.

Thanks..looks like those Big Stihls have a use other than keeping boats in position after all!!  :D (Just kidding..I know they are great machines)
