The name just has more spice than STIHL. And it's STILL orange to boot!  8)

Are you out of commission, or the saw? If it's the latter, I'm curious how a Timber Wolf saw is used to raise a metal truss.

I think Echo may take offense to your comment about it being 'Stihl' orange!  Echo may say Stihl is Echo orange!  :D

I have a CS620.  I have used it a little but do like it!

Great saw. I have used and abused mine and it keeps going. I did find a complete service manual on facebook the other day for it and the 6?? series as well as a few other saws.
Give me a new saw chain and I can find you a rock in a heartbeat.

I'm fine....saw just happened to be on the ground where the truss landed...only broke the chain brake...got one ordered

I'm a little disappointed that they didn't have a catchy name for my 490.

Two Trax

I have an Echo CS 600 which the Timberwolf is based off. It has given me no trouble in 6+ years and I do not baby it. It is every bit the equal of my Stihl 360 Pro.

With minor mods, carb tuning and muffler mods, several Echo models are sleepers that perform much better than often given credit for.

I have a 590 that hasn't had a lot of use, but I like it so far. I did switch out the spur sprocket for rim. I think it's just an awesome value as is though. (I like my 490 quite a bit as it is too, I can't imagine the affection I'd have had they named it something catchy...)

I might have ended up with one as my first "big" saw, but wasn't terribly familiar with echo at the time. I limited my choices to Husqvarna and Stihl since I was familiar with their reputations. The Husqvarna shop was closed when I went to get a saw, so I ended up with a 362cm. Great saw, but a good bit more $ than an echo 590.

They could name all their saws for animals, but some people are gonna be disappointed. Not sure how I'd feel about pulling my echo chipmunk out with a bunch of guys around  :^D

Back in the '80's I remember they had an "Eager Beaver Chrome Cutter II" that was sold at K-Mart.
