 esteadle, the mill I have ordered is the LT15wide which comes with the 25 hp Kohler.   The 17hp diesel offered for this mill is made by Kohler.  My original question was about swapping the 25hp Kohler with a 26.5hp efi Kohler engine.  The main thing I am seeing is that the muffler would have to be moved to the side.
2019 LT15G25WIDE, 2013 LT35HDG25, Stihl MS880 with 59" bar with Alaskan sawmill attachment.  John Deere 5045 tractor with forks, bucket and grapple.  Many chainsaws.

EFI has to have the muffler on it. Side muffler will not work. Back pressure is different and there is no place for the Oxygen sensor.

Thanks Sparks.  I guess that settles it and I will stick with the tried and true 25 hp Kohler.   Thanks everyone for your input.
