Has anyone used say, 6"x 6" green post oak for timbers around a raised garden? If so how long would they last? Thanks in advance. bg

I would think you should get several years out of them if you avoid having any sapwood in them. The sapwood tends to rot quickly.
"I could have sworn I went over that one with the metal detector".
