I missed it.  >:(

Somebody told me this morning that the TV series "Extreme Makeover – Home Addition" had show about building a room or rooms onto a house in Georgia and they used a Wood-Mizer mill to saw out the beams.

Anyone else see this show?

I wasn't able to find out on Dish Network when the show will air again.  Maybe someone smarter than I am can find out?

One clue I had was that the beams were sawn by Vintage Beams and Timbers, Inc. of Sylva, NC.   They have some photos on their web site.

http://www.vintagebeamsandtimbers.com/extreme_makeover_home_edition.htm

They have a link on this page to the Extreme Home web page and has the show listed "The Harper Family".  But I can't get it to "fire off".  I guess my media player is out of date.

Help me please... :'(

Bib,
Yes, that was on last Thursday at 9:00 eastern on Dish 8550,8200,245, for C-band users it was W3,T19 and F1,T2 the ABC networks. I couldn't find a future rerun.

It's possible it could be aired on C-band on one of ABC's free to air Wild Feeds of which I know of at least 4.

Bibbyman, I saw that show last night, Monday.  The saw looked to be a WM super diesel. Looked  to be the Kobota diesel. Didn't show much sawing, but did show several old beams.

I wouldn't lose sleep over waiting for it to come back on.  Total segment couldn't have been more than 10 seconds. :D
Just a quick static look at the mill from behind while they explained what it was and why it was there. then a close up following the blade through a cut with Paul oohh'ing about what a nice cut it made.

15 seconds of fame. ::)

I saw the pictures of the beams in the house.  It would really be neat to be part of a project like that.  As close as we came so far was to saw out some knees for a bent post and beam house.
