john deer 4000 winch

swapping gearamatic winch to John deer on c5 treefarmer has any body did this I need to know where two hook up hydraulic lines thanks

 I would have to look at my books but I remember something about supplied pressure on a 4000, theres more to the conversion than just hooking hoses up. 
 The other thing is... when you bought a winch... did you buy the correct rotation 4000 ? I know the winch on my 460C is reverse of my dozer, you might want to check that.

it came off a 648 skidder that all I know can't find much on internet

 I can look in my books and see, I had looked into changing a 3325 over to a 4000 and it was going to be a fiasco because of winch size. Not sure which size drum you've got but if you put that in a C5 you want to make sure its bolted in with BIG bolts 😂 Some guy on FB posted pictures of a jack they converted, the winch sat stuffed up in the arch when it ripped itself out of the frame, they are a strong winch.

the winch plate on my skidder is a in thick and it got 4 in bolt to skidder frame

 I had to say it 😂 I will find that picture somewhere, had a 4000 wadded right up in the arch, someone had a bad day.

yea that would be bad when I get the winch mounted and working I'll make sure it not going to get ripped out of frame I'm going to try and get it in there in next couple day got to figure out pressure on hydraulic line
