I have 5 loops of .404 .80 gauge from my firewood processor. No longer have the processor. I don't see any .80 gauge bats for a chainsaw 😂 is there a reason I can't run it! I also have the bar but I don't know if it will fit due to the bars overal size. Prolly being to cheap right!

You won't find a .080 bar for a hand held saw and Oregon says not to run harvester chain on one. I never did learn why

I'm sure harvester chain is too aggressive for handheld use.

It's not much different. The teeth are almost identical in size and use a 7/32 fine. And is round knows so its no real aggressive. It's just 404 but .080 drive links. Oh well.

I know the teeth are the same, I'll touch up a chain on the processor if it's just dull vs. a rock strike.  The teeth are farther apart, and the rakers are lower.

Is this the 18 or 19hx? There's some differences the old 16 was was 063 saw chain the newer stuff is meant for a harvester with different style drivers to help keep guys from running it.

Off the top of my head, I think we run 18hx. Iirc, it's .80 guage and the rakers are either .50 or .60.

The 18 is a semi chisel, .080 with a .050 raker height.

Yep it's 18. I'll keep them. I'd like to build a small "processor" someday. Basically just a cradle with the saw above a 3 point heavy log splitter I have. Just for my own use. 5 chains should last me a life time. Especially since my wood pile is growing and I'm burning propane for a second year in a row 😆. To cheap turn burn my wood.

I haven't run the .080 but I made up 28" loops of the RS Stihl .063 harvester chain I had for my built-rite processor and it does ok on a 3120xp. 🤣

It must be pretty aggressive with .050 rakers.
