I have a 10 year old saw. That saw looks better than mine!! Someone do a paint job? Bar looks used.

That was very popular here for falling and bucking the smaller stuff. Hmm, no brake means it is over 40 years old but looks almost new.

Old amateur paint job . Seller is a collector in Canada , been sitting  in his collection . Says it starts easy and runs strong. Gave less than $250 Us and shipping , hopefully the seller is honest . He has excellent feedback on previously sold saws . I also bought a fixer upper from another seller, same saw but electronic and also no brake . This saw has the cutout in the cover for the brake as well as the bolt holes for the guard and mount . Maybe someone couldn't get parts and just deleted the brake ? I am gonna try to locate the parts to put a brake on one or the other of them . Looks like a neat old saw , think I'm gonna like it .

The fixer runs so the seller says but only on the choke . Got it for $90 Us and fairly cheap shipping . Was asking more but I made an offer and we met in the middle . Got a new carb , fuel lines and filter on the way as well as a couple of carb kits . Crossing my fingers it just a fuel issue .

My first Stihl saw was an 041 Farmboss, bought it new and still have it, no brake, no AV, and I don't use it much because of the vibes being hard on my wrists but it's still a strong runner that I keep for when I need the extra saw or someone wants to borrow a saw. I've often thought it would be perfect for a Lewis Winch but I've never seen a good deal on one to try.
