Yes, it felt nice to be able to drive my tractor out in the woods again. Not saying the ground is all firm, just in certain places. I know what areas to stay away from in the early spring. I threw some branches out of the  woods road, the ones that I could get too. We just had a nice rain a few days ago. That did a lot to get that frost out of the ground. I almost could plant some peas, probably I should of today.
I even hauled 2 loads of rocks.  ;D I made a mess of the road beside the Women cave. The rocks will help out next year.

My peas went in a week ago.
No me but some folks around here have a contest to see who has the first ripe peas.  ;)
I hope all is well up there cfarm.

I figure Easter is time to plant peas most years, per my neighbor growing up...

All is fine here Peter.
In this area, it was bragging rights to get peas by July 4th. The weather use to be different, meaning more cold temps and more snow.Now it's easy to get peas by the 4th.

I know one guy that would push the snow to one side to get them in the ground.
Then one year had a guy start them inside, put them out later.
cheating. :D :D ::)
