I am looking to get an in box fuel tank for my 2007 ram 3500 dually.
95 gallon or more.

my question is L shape or rectangle.

now i am using 55 gal plastic drums with manual rotary pumps and water separator on each.

new will be 12v electric, 8 GPM or more and water separator

if you have a short body the l tank will not fit. 8 ft is fine. on mine it tool box then tank puts the weight back some and the pump on the right

I have a long box.
so the L shape is to add a tool box.

i will get the rectangle.
will try to find a USA made one with the pump and fill on the same side

In Ma. with all our rules, >:(, we can't legally haul more than 99 gal. without compliance cards and I think something added to our license. I have a rectangle I stenciled max 90 Gal onto it. Used it a little back when I could log and never had a problem. Most time I had it in a 4x8 trailer and it stayed on the job.

I got a white rectangle 100 gal + 15 GPM auto off pump

tank states 100 gallon, receipt states 96 gallon. will see when i fill it up.

GPI M-150s-au pump
Goldenrod see-through water separator

Below - this is how i was doing it. used a battery drill to pump
Harbor freight pump, leaks.

Fill is on the left, above the truck fuel cap
Goldenrod filter is at an angle, otherwise i would have to raise the pump 6 inches

The 100/96 gallon thing is likely to allow for expansion.  You don't want to top that baby off to the filler nozzle or you will have fuel lapping back into the bed of your truck.  I have learned to just fill it until the nozzle clicks off - that's full enough.
