I have a Husqvarna 460 chainsaw I purchased used(like new) online. I didn't get a book with it. This saw I used last winter end. This saw was built with NO trigger lock, it has an automatic high idle for starting which drops to normal after warm-up. It also has H and L jet screws that are slotted not splined. I haven't seen another 460 like this.
Anybody seen a 460 like this?

I have NOT, but what's the serial number/year it was made? Got a picture?
Trying harder everyday.

With the slotted screws it sounds like it has been modified or is a knockoff.
old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm

Husky hasn't built a saw with a "trigger lock" since the 288 was discontinued. The fast idle setting is set when the choke is pulled out and released to slow idle when the trigger is pulled. Not after it warms up.

Early 455/460 saws used slotted adjustment carbs with limiters.
