Darien from Reihl steel was in my mill yard at 8:00 this morning.
He went trough the edger from end to end.
It now cuts ture and straight.
I can now use it.
Thank You Darien

Its good to have everything operating correctly. Happy edging!! Brian
Opportunity is missed by most because it shows up wearing bib overalls and looks like work.

I could not operate without a good edger. Sometimes I even rip a board for a customer on it.  When I rebuilt this edger I went all the way right down to the frame. I was able to talk to one of the brothers who designed it and was told how to line it up. It would banana every third board. I struggled for a long time and asked any edger owner that would listen for advise. Got some strange answers. Roller alignment was the one thing that kept coming up but I had been very careful about that.   After a long time I discovered the 2nd roll on the outfeed table was 3/4" out of square. If it happened that the board didn't touch that roll the board would saw straight. I had been told that the outfeed table had no effect. My machine has been working great for years now but I wish it was bigger. Bigger is always better.
