On my setter the counter has stopped, ruined 1 blade already. I checked the relays and thought I had reset the right part. It only counts with no blade. The counter light flashes when I operate with no blade? I thought I would try here before I call WM on monday.

When you say the counter light do you mean the sensor that the arm passes by?  So you can set the # of teeth but in auto mode the counter number stays at zero?  Mine had an issue like that, replaced the sensor and it changed nothing, eventually put in a new counter box - the square black thing - that fixed the issue.

It all works untill I lower the pusher arm onto the blade and then the sensor light and counter stops. If I leave the arm up the sensor lights up and the counter works.

Ted, if your sensor light is coming on and it's not counting then that's exactly what mine was doing. WM sent me a new counter and the problem was fixed.

Stephen, is the pusher tweaked and making the arm too far from the sensor? Try moving the sensor closer to the pusher arm and see if anything changes.

I'll check tomorrow. I remember the trouble started when I jammed the pusher.
Ted, mine did not count at all when I 1st received it.  WM sent me a new counter also under warranty.

A snow day here today so it was inside nice and warm fixing things.
I moved the sensor and now my is working like a charm.
I also added a dime to inside setter spring and it sets perfect. I had done the outside one before .
