I am working 4 nights for the holiday.  in about 5 hours, it will be the time my daughter Monique was born, 25 years ago today.  A thanksgiving baby.  we went out for lunch, and then saw the movie Wish by Disney.  Monique has a degree in animation but graduated in the middle of covid 2021 and no internships or jobs.  she loves animated movies.  We will have food at work and hope to not be too busy.  My family will bring home food from my sisters-in-law's place.  Happy Turkey Day all.

Happy Thanksgiving guys.
smiley_turkey_dancing  There has been thanksgiving days when I was younger when I felt there wasn't much to be thankful for.   I couldn't have been more wrong.
Every day is a gift and I've so much to give thanks for.   Especially my new grandson who is having his first thanksgiving with us today.

Reminds me of a story... popcorn_smiley

A few years ago a friend thought he had been robbed sometime right after the holidays. I asked what'd they take? He said they broke into his closet and stole some of his clothes. All the fat pants were gone, and only the skinny jeans were left behind.

The same band of burglars hit my house shortly after I hit 40  :D  :D

Yes it was a Happy Thanksgiving! We first went to my brothers house and ate way too much with my side of the family. Got to see three new great, great nephews born this spring so I asked how soon any of them could run a weedeater :D :D. Eventually when we left we stopped at the wife's sisters house where her family gathered and naturally they thought we at least needed some more dessert.
