Esco bead breaker # 20429

I just bought this tool and used it , what an absolute game changer. It works amazingly well. Just broke the bead and dismounted a 16.9-34 on one of our tractors in 15 minutes that was on there big time.
 It would not even remotely budge with a duckbill sledgehammer and it wasn't for lack of trying . :D
Not sure how many of you out there are doing your own tire work. It wasn't cheap but dang does it work well. Highly recommended  8) The last one I did without it expanded my vocabulary quite a bit  ;D

I keep a pair of the cheap screw type bead breakers on my service truck ever since I had to tackle one of my 28L-26 tires. Those and an air bellows jack (along with the track hoe) allowed me to service the tire by myself. If I could justify the use, and I'm glad that I can't, I would consider a hydraulic type unit like that Esco.

I recently had 4 new 600/50-22.5 tube type forestry tires installed on my Menzi excavator. The local Co-op tire shop had one of those Esco type units and it made the job look simple for break down. That and a tire machine big enough to handle the largest ag tires was great to watch. They only charged me a little under $250 to replace one tube and dismount/mount 3 new tires. At those prices, my back was smiling and I was more than glad to give them my business.

I don't want to be in the big tire business any more. Motorcycle tires are easy and I'll gladly pay for the others.
