stuck oil filter any advice?

I got it off! Had to remove the whole assembly from the motor block. Took it back to the shop put it in a vise. I could really get some leverage on it. It almost didn't come off but eventually relented. I never would have gotten that off in the position it was on the mill.  Thanks for the advice...

I have always put the oil on the rubber o ring, never really new the reason. Now I do! ffcool learn something new everyday! Thanks Jeff
