14° here and cloudy. Might reach 22° for a high they say. No wind though. Storm starting tonight, but not much to it, said under 2" expected off it. Light, dry, fine stuff. Up here a cold day snow storm, low 20's or colder, doesn't yield much snow. If it were 28° we'd could get 2 feet, then it could turn real cold as it cleared, like -20F (I have not seen it since 2008) and people say how cold the storm was, when it was almost 30° when snowing. I seen that Christmas eve back in '76 or so and the cold and wind on Christmas. The road was blocked for 2 days, then just one lane plowed.

20° and light fine snow since 2:00 am. An inch or so, so far. Expect maybe 2" all day. You can see way off so it isn't putting out much.  ffsmiley

85° in the shop.

Yeah, I am looking at the forecast and thinking I may just hibernate for a few days, conserve my shop wood (let it go out, or maybe just run one fire a day and shoot for 55°. Either way, I just don't see any point in pushing it. The lumber order I have can wait a few days. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will have highs of 35 and I can work with that.
We got about 1.5" of snow overnight and there is no sign of melting off. 26° right now and I think that's all we're gonna get. It was 27 at midnight. Winter is here. Now we had this last year, but after the December cold it warmed up and stayed that way. Think that could happen again? We'll probably find out. ffcheesy
