Spotted this while fishing a pond in a cow pasture.

I zoomed in on it with my identifier thingy and it said 'honeybee'.  ::)  I suppose that it had no idea about the flower except that it was in the Dicots family which is of no help.

Seed head of a musk thistle.

Lower parts of the plant were thorny. Just looked up info on Musk Thistle it's an invasive species, Thanks for the replies.
