Code for second story floor joists on top plate

We made an arithmetical mistake . On the exterior wall the joists will have 1-7/8 to rest on the top plate . My framer guy helping thinks it's 1.5" for code . I have a bug in my gut that it's 2"

Upon further review , we're spot on . My framers arithmetical skills weren't evident , but still good to know what code is there . 2x6 walls
