I am using 747 and 7T blades (.045x1 1/4) and heard that blade + set is about .095. So when sawing green or bug kill pine what would give the best dimension lumber size. With Simpleset I have to put in either a 1/16 or 1/8 for kerf. So with 1/16 I am under size  and with 1/8 size oversize. (Did I get it right) I know this is splitting hairs but can not make up my mine. BTW on my 2x4/2x6s I am allowing 1/16 shrinkage. Which would be better when selling, oversize or undersize or dose it matter?. I am probably too picky but can't help it. :)  Any suggestions

I use 1/8" for kerf.  Dropping 1 1/4" gives me the target 1 1/8" rough board that I am after when sawing 4/4.  I saw 2x4's and 2x6's 1/8' over rough to match store bought size after air drying, so a 2x4 is sawn at 1 5/8 x  3 5/8".

I always used 1/8 " when I had Simpleset.
