I don't sell lumber myself but I am curious to know if anyone here uses Woodplanet to advertise your lumber or to give bids on requested quotes they have listed. If you have never visited their website you should check it out.

I tried for a couple years to get a job or an order through that service, but nothing ever worked out for me. I never found the right offer to make me want to pay their fees. I would scan the RFQs and try to find something I could deliver on, but many posts wanted containers or truckloads in terms of quantity which I was not equipped for back then. I maintain an inventory now, so it might make sense to revisit and maybe try makings some Offers to Sell. On the other hand, looking quickly, the RFQs are thin and dated. I see posts near the top dating from 2020. Yeah, I'm not holding out much hope.
