Just wondering how tight should the roller chain be on the 4 roller a Fabtek fixed head.  It seems lose it makes a slapping noise when it stops.

They shouldn’t be rubber band tight and they shouldn’t be so loose they rub on the cleaner plates.

Just wondering if any one got any tips on turning the roller to tighten the chain?

Take all the bolts out. Be carful the hole thing will fall off. Take two of the bolts and put in the two holes then use a wrench or bar on the two bolts and turn while you lift a little of the front of the wheel. Easier with two people. Then put one top bolt in and tighten it to check chain slack. You can see it's egg shaped if your thicker part of the "egg" is already down you need new chain and or sprockets. About $2700

I would lay the head with the rollers just above the ground block up the front and rear so I could spin the upper adjustment with a socket I made with pin in it no guessing or blowing your back out, another way is to lay the head all the way against the boom with the boom stretched out.
