have just finished rebuilding a ford 351 ute :


Gorons are a different story valiant divers&moccosons
tomato sauce in the glovebox&a crate of flagons in the boot

G'day Keef,
I must say, Im a Holden fan all the way!  Did have a mate with a 302 Falcon, which I rode around in, so aint totally against the Blue Oval!  I must say I do like the 351.
Valiants! Now theres a great car.  Right up there with the Mk4 Zepher!
I hope you realise no one will know what you mean by 'flagon' and 'boot'!
Going round to a mates place for the AB's on Sat.  It would be downright rude if I didnt take a slab with me!

Hi ya's
even the holden thing might have some beat  ;)had a XB 302 many moons ago and a HQ prem with a chev 305 (till i splashed out on 1600 bucks of Oz hard wood for the front end :'( ) kiwi there maybe 3/4 of the forum with a pic in there heads of a guy in red bands and swandry standing at his mates place with a unfinshed table top :D

Yeah youre probably right!  ???  Red bands = brand of gumboots, swandri = woollen jacket, nice and warm, slab = cardboard tray of 24 tinnies (cans of beer).
Oh well, I cant help it if we talk funny!
The XD was my fav Ford at the time.

Oh-hh-h.......We have black rubber boots with red band around the top too.  :D

if it has a warm starting fit,try opening the gas cap,and then close it and try starting it. If this helps, you have a vapor lock/ venting problem. if not its electrical.

ute rebuild xd 351 c4 trans ,discs all round hurst shifter
headers .....
back to the 066 ,have found starting is best even cold with full throttle 5 pulls &it cranks up  ;D ;D
