Parting it out wasn't really high on my list, just wanted to see if others had similar thoughts on it.

Radiator new is $2400, oil cooler is $1600. If I gotta rebuild the powershift trans, what's that cost?
I guess what I'm getting at, is the cost of parts to fix it up and make it woods ready, going to return at time of sale? I get that a woods ready machine is worth way more. But does a $2400 radiator, and a $5000 tranny rebuild increase the value $7400? Plus who knows what else along the way. End of the day it's an older cable skidder, they kind of have a peak value for what they're worth...
Try Band B radiator in Rutland. They've been able to fix or re-core anything I've ever sent them. Last time I was there they had a HUGE radiator from a Casella loader that had a steel I-Beam pushed through it pushing scrap. They had it done in 2 days

It's gone down the road, as is.
I never listed it.
I responded to a Craigslist ad looking for a skidder project. Fella was looking for a small machine for his own woodlot. He has a shop, background in equipment repair. He looked it over real well and we found the center axle pivot a little loose, center pins loose, winch brake slips, winch driveshaft needs U joints (ruined seal in winch) so it definitely needed some TLC but he liked that it wasn't all banged up, everything was repairable. Didn't get as much as I originally hoped for, but considering what all it needed and what I put into it, I'm happy. I end up with the tractor and bush hog for nothing, and a few bucks in my pocket.

Sounds like the best outcome one could have hoped for.  You didn't put a bunch of time into it, you got your tractor.  A person that could fix it up and keep it going gets the skidder.  Well done!

Nothing wrong with a quick flip, things are starting to slow up and stuffs getting cheaper, I would have ran while you could. My fastest score was 1hr, about 5 miles, machine on the trailer to off the trailer, pocketed 12k cash and a new 372, the deals are out there but you've gotta gamble.

solid flip, everyone ends up happy, that's a WIN

I'd say that worked out pretty good for you. Good job!

Yup, it all worked out in the end. When I first looked at it, I had high hopes and dreams of what could have been, then reality sets in lol
I ran my Clark for the first time in awhile a few weeks ago, and I really got a chance to compare the two. I definitely like the clark a lot better. Cab fits me better, I like the steering and blade on one stick, and a clark winch is just  8) it's definitely a rough old cable skidder and not worth a whole lot, but I do like it.
