Nope, I've got 40 plants or so that have only been in a couple weeks. Just blooming now. My peppers have more flowers than leaves right now, been eating some fruit to. :)

Been 2 weeks since last rain. Well we are getting a 2 day steady soaker right now. :)

We're good, thank you. Just starting to pick our first ones now (in the greenhouse). We've had cucumbers for a couple of weeks now (also in the greenhouse).

My wife, Kay, loves tomatoes so if you were just a little "200 mi" closer we'd come get some. We don't plant them anymore because about the time ours were ready so were the neighbors and between regular neighbors and Amish neighbors it's easy to get plenty then.

Among the local ladies there is usually an email "Does anyone need a tomato?" bragging rights when the first one ripens. When I was hauling, that first batch of produce is gold. We are now in tomatoes, as is everyone  ffcheesy.

There's alway sauce and ketchup. My home made ketchup is superior to anything from a squeeze bottle. Recipe from Bernardin's book. Prabably Ball has same. I have an Italian tomato mill for large batches or a food mill for 6 pint batches. When suppliers have field surpluses, the local stores sell 25 lb boxes of tomatoes for cheap, but not cheap from green houses.

Oh yeah, I'm working on installing the new mini split cause the kitchen is in overdrive. There will be boxes of new jars in the pantry soon.

Salsa time. 8 to 10 tomatoes diced,  1/3 cup diced onions,  1/2 cup diced cilantro, 1 diced jalapeƱo,  a table spoon of minced garlic and a table spoon of salt. Leave on the counter to stew for a few hours.  Yum, lasts for a week in the refrigerator.

I started my tomatoes from seed this year and they were about 5 inches high yesterday.  I didn't check on them today.  Hopefully be thick in Peas next week.  Time for a second planting of them.

Not as much with tomatoes, but we do caution people to lock their car doors at produce harvest time here. Not because of car thieves, but because you'll open your car door and find someone has "gifted" you with a grocery bag full of zucchinis, cucumbers the size of baseball bats, and whatever other produce they had an abundance of in their garden. :uhoh:
