Okay Barge I'll bite. How in world did that end up in there?

Ah, Barge, I see you got my present I sent you!  I thought I blew up my quad this spring. Wide open ripping across a cornfield, then sputter and nothing... Pulled air filter housing and Mickey Mouse had chewed up the filter AND the metal.  I had a bit of time pulling tiny parts out of the throttle body and a next to a valve. Mice are bad enough when they chew wiring!

Metal inside the air filter box has broken, went THRU the blower and inside the airbox. 2 stroke engine, crankcase is kept under vacuum, airbox is kept under 3-5psi. Crankcase is the bottom doors, airbox is the doors that are off, the block is actually 2 pieces mated together and bolted, the upper part is the head frame and that just bolts on.



Tiny pieces she would eat, something just the right size gets thru those liner ports and bounces around isn't good. Scales a little hard to show, those ports are about 1.5", the airbox door is like a dinner plate, a full dressed block is 40k lbs, these make 2100hp each which is on the lower end for an EMD, turbo model makes 3k+ with the same blocks.
