Burning charred logs

Our land was finally logged a couple months ago and state forestry department did a burn today. All brush piles were a mix of smaller diameter hardwoods and crowns. Some brush piles burned up entirely, while others left quite a few charred logs of various sizes.

1) So, any tips when I start burning these charred logs? With all the crowns burned up, I don't have much for kindling.

2) Since the logs are charred, can I go ahead and just bury them? Or will they still cause sink holes later?

The charred logs are not preserved and will still rot

I'd just leave the logs too.

If you can get a fire started in one area the leaf blower might be your best tool to keep it going.
