Regarding bent loader cylinders - You are probably already aware of this, but be careful backdragging with the loader bucket curled out so you are vertical with the bucket/cutting edge. From what I hear, most loader cylinders get bent this way due to cylinders being extended with down pressure and hitting obstructions. Best to back drag with the bucket nearly horizontal/flat to the ground.
I am but I. Have never seen such a high failure rate. It appears they undersized the cylinder rod diameter to get higher roll back force without going to larger cylinders.  Plus from what I have read the original rods are not the best steel.

Quote from: TroyC on September 05, 2024, 08:18:48 AMI was not aware of that about the cylinders and I bent mine shortly after I bought the tractor. TYM dealer covered them under warranty and I installed them. While waiting on the replacements I ordered a replacement set to keep as spares. The replacement set required a few hydraulic adapters but fit perfectly and the rods were a little thicker than the factory ones.

After bending the originals, someone here on the FF explained about backdragging. Now I try to be much more careful.
Just be sure to watch the frame in the area the loader mounts bolt on. Thicker rods lower the rollback force considerably. It appears that's why they went with small rods. It's a fantastic  machine that they have pushed loader numbers to the limits to have higher capacity at a lower price then any other manufacturers.

It's home. Was supposed to be a happy day but it's not because my wife  has been in the hospital all week. It sure is pretty and comfortable.

Thanks, so am I. One word of warning is if you ever get sick in western NY avoid Rochester General Hospital.  Extremely overcrowded,  under staffed,  and many of them are incompetent. I got pretty mad in there this morning and filed a complaint that seems to have helped now. Having a liver biopsy Monday.

Got to mount and play with the grapple a little.  Boy is that a back  saver. Wife was in the hospital 2 weeks, came home for 3 days and now back in another week so far. Combination bile backup in her Liver with a serious autoimmune Hepatitis attack on her Liver caused by an antibiotic given to her for what they originally thought was an urinary infection. They can't get the Liver levels  stabilized and biopsy Tuesday. Also fluid sack on her pancreas most likely  caused  by the severe pancreatitus she got after they placed a Stent in her bile duct. Finally  got her able to eat some solid foods now and off the morphine now.
