My wife asked if I could build one and I said yeah but not sure when. My shop is limited to a radial arm saw and drill press and most of the powered hand tools. First thought is look at plans for a real one and just downsize about 50% then cut a hole in the seat for a pot. Any suggestions or pictures welcome. I'm just 8 days into my knee replacement so I have time for thinking.

either lifeguard chair, or maybe from an Adirondak style seat on stilts.  I converted and old rocking chair.  I will see about a pic.  It eventually rotted away.  I used epoxy inside the box, but the original chair parts suffered in the weather.

I think I used honey locust for the planter parts.
