He either did a lot of walking or there are a lot of bucks for next year!

Wow that's a good day. Wonder how many trips to his truck he had to make. That's certainly more than an armload.

You got some bucks around there!!!!
I only find about 6-8 each year.
I may find one matching set in a year.
I have never found a set together.

he has a paracord lanyard over his shoulder or behind his neck, and uses a slip knot to carry them.  He goes to a ton of places, as he spread manure for a living.  If we ever have an event here, we can go up to his house and tour his man shed.

My nephew found a shed yesterday with a tractor tire, I told him I just bend over and pick up by hand. They hope the patch job holds as the tire is nearly new and over $3 grand.

OUCH!! I barely missed an antler with a rear tractor tire a few years ago while cutting hay, stopped just in time to keep from impaling in the tire. Still have it  :)

An expensive way to find them.  :(

Rutting season is ending for us for red stags out in NZ. The fallow buck should be making themselves heard within the next week or so.

Great haul!

Dallas made a trip to Colorado and made some soup when he got back.  European (mount) soup.

Did that to my buck head in a pot on the kitchen stove (when my wife was away on a trip  ffcheesy ffcheesy  ).

Short story, this buck came to my deer stand shortly after I learned that my hunting partner of 35 years had passed away and I was asked to give a eulogy for him at his funeral service. Went back to my deer stand and thinking of my friend Hiram, who always dreamed of getting a nice whitetail buck in Wisconsin, but never did. My thoughts were that it would be nice to get a nice buck for him, and wasn't 5 minutes went by when this nice buck walked by following a doe. My grandson added the ping pong balls to the eye sockets.  ffcheesy

What a beauty, BT! If I was Hiram I'd be cursing you from the grave😂
