Neat! Do you put sawdust or shavings in for nesting material?

I am thinking about building a couple of screech owl boxes and they say use shavings or sawdust like the punky material in a dead tree used as a woodpecker den.

Yes, I'll put some shavings in it before I hang it. Ill probably find a dry length of wood and make some lengthwise cuts with the chainsaw to get some noodles.
