Moosedrover,thats the same red dye they use in those red Maine hotdogs.Wonder ifen you can use them for bait,mayby lake trout have a sweet tooth. Frank C.

I don't eat hot dogs often.   But when I do....
They're the red dye casing variety.
They just taste better, especially cooked on a stick over an open fire. :)
