Wha do you ya'll think will happen?

Tn_man and Teenswinger sold me a big chunk of oak with plenty of burl figure in it.  I resawed the 6" x 6" cant into 1/4"  "veneer" slices.  This was then stacked with stickers every 12".  I have a small fan and dehumidifier in the hallway with the stack. (This is donwstairs in the basement where my wife seldom goes.  Shhh. ;))  I think it will dry pretty flat.  I can then send it through the drum sander to use as veneer in a project.
Am I living in La-La land?  Will this work?  My thought is that it is so thin and drying relatively slow that I can avoid drying stress'.

These burled sections are every 12" -16".
I guess everyone can place there bet's as to what will happen! :D :D

I do what the little voices in my wife's head tell me to do.

you need to weight it down to control warping i would think a fan might be to much at first

I took the pics before I put on the weight.  Sorry I didn't represent the full story with the pics   The fan is in the room about ten feet from the stack just to keep the air moving in the room -  hopefully to curb mold growth.   Do you think I should turn it off?  Maybe,  if the surface of the wood is dry mold won't form?

Chris,
Please let us know how this turns out. There is another log that came from the same tree that I am going to purcahse today. We may wait to cut it until we can purchase a slabber.
By the way, how did you cut it so thin? May be I don't want to know ::)
Sure is beautiful wood, huh?

Jeff,  Did you say you have a slabber on the way? :)
Jim cut this on his WM for me the next day.  The entire pile has developed a noticable crook this week.  It is still flat and unchecked, though.
