ditto on the firefox, I've had no problems since I ditched IE, BUT I NEVER click on a link embedded in a e-mail. There is one option in firefox, that if enabled will stop you from copying pics from your gallery into a post. It is easy to get around, if anybody has this problem, holler and I'll IM the get-around.

Mozilla and Firefox users, did you notice faster Tx and Rx?

After I run all my anti-quasi-identify-obliterate software, I often go from blistering fast to turtle-crawl in minutes and I suspect it is IE being suseptible to attacks all over again.

I have been close to downloading one of the alternate browers like Mo or FF but have never pulled the trigger. I am ready though.

Went into My Documents, and found the Mozilla files. Got it working as default browser, and speed is VERY fast, even for 64K.  ::) ::)  Gotta REALLY love that IE crap.  ??? ;D

Now to change over all the favorites and stuff to Bookmarks. That's always slow for me ???

There are several on here that have very slow dial-up. Have y'all tried Mozilla ???

Mine has cruise. :D Just kidding. I am a lot happier with Firefox too. Got rid of so many of those DanG popups. I tried setting Thunderbird as my default e-mail but it blocked most of them. I think I need to lower the security settings.

Harold, I found one with all the bells & whistles, just like you wanted...when I got it home tho, I realized it came with a butt warmer too, so I took it back.  ;D

FDH,

Just thought I would comisserate with youa little on how computer ill-iterate we is.

I thought maybe i would try and decide which browser i wanted to use between the two, Mozilla or Firefox, since they are the only two laternatives I ever hear mentioned. So I type into google "Mozilla Firefox comparisons" and it seems that Firefoz is MADE by Mozilla! :D

Man does I ever feel stoopid.

So I guess that makes me the CCCCCCC . . .  that would be Captain and Chief Complainer of the Computer-Challenged Comisseration Commitee. I guess you are the Admiral but it just doesn't work as well.  ;)

Once you get something really nasty in your machine, your best bet is to back everything up onto a removable media (cd, flash drive, dvd) then nuke the machine and start again. Even cleaned problems leave behind thier scars. The key when you back up though is to write a list and make like Santa and check it twice. I know I have accidentally bombed a few important files in the past  ;)
